6. If you are a first-time student loan borrower at Kentucky State University and you choose to accept a federal student, please complete the next 2 following steps:

- Go to StudentAid.gov/entrance-counseling.
- Log in with your FSA ID and password.
- Add Kentucky State University as the school to notify.
- Select your student type: undergraduate or graduate/professional.
- Complete and submit all required sections.

8. Complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN)
Required for first-time borrowers and borrowers who's previous MPN has expired
- Go to StudentAid.gov/mpn and select the option for an undergraduate or graduate/professional student.
- Log in with your FSA ID and password.
- Select Kentucky State University as the school to notify.
- Complete and submit all required sections.
- When prompted to enter your name, use the exact name associated with your FSA ID.
