POLICY STATEMENT:
The KYSU Online Academic Suspension Policy for undergraduates stipulates that students on academic probation who fail to achieve a semester GPA of 2.0 or higher will be placed on academic suspension and must remain out of the university for the following semester. Readmission after suspension requires completion of a formal application and demonstration of progress, including grade requirements for foundational and general education courses within limited attempts. Upon reinstatement, students must meet GPA targets and conditions set by the university, with ongoing support provided. Students suspended twice, or those failing reinstatement conditions, face academic dismissal for a minimum of one year. The policy outlines notification, appeals, and readmission procedures to ensure academic standards and student accountability are maintained.
