This contract is made and entered into this 27 day of September, 2021, by and between the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority, hereinafter referred to as the "AUTHORITY" and PGAL, hereinafter referred to as the "CONSULTANT." The contract is effective as of this date.

WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY has entered into an Agreement for Professional Architectural/Engineering Services, dated February 18, 2021;

WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY has entered into an Agreement for Professional Architectural/Engineering Services, dated July 22, 2021;

WHEREAS, it is the intent of the AUTHORITY and the CONSULTANT to amend the Scope of Services to include additional tasks and services associated with the design phase of the project; and

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and the covenants hereinafter contained, it is agreed as follows:

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Second Amendment to the Agreement for Professional Engineering and Architectural Services has been executed in duplicate, by the respective parties hereto. A facsimile or electronic (including "pdf") copy of this Contract, and any amendments thereto, and any signatures thereon, shall be considered for all purposes as an original. Alternatively, such documents may be executed by electronic signatures, as determined by Florida's Electronic Signature Act and other applicable laws.

Dear Mr. Bontrager:

As requested, PGAL is submitting for review and board approval, our additional services request to add a three-level parking structure on the proposed consolidated rental car quick turnaround site to support both rental car and supplementary parking needs. The proposed parking structure design has been formally presented to SMAA and the rental car tenants and has been accepted as the path forward to meet the needs of the project.

Our additional services request is outlined in the attached documents, and is inclusive of management, architectural, rental car planning services from PGAL, along with structural engineering services by MCE, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and IT engineering services by TLC, and code/life safety consulting from Jensen Hughes. We will utilize vendor services for precast garage design support and have already been in contact with Coreslab Structures and Dura-Stress, both of whom have provided design input, concept drawings, preliminary engineering and pricing. The estimated cost for this parking structure will range from $17M – 20M.

Other changes to our original and contracted scope includes the addition of the cell phone lot to a site located south of Rental Car Road and the removal of any design or engineering work for the existing Hertz lot. Work planned for Parcel 2 for parking is not part of our scope but will be coordinated with our design efforts through SMAA.

This request will follow the same design and submission requirements as outlined in our contract, including Exhibit A – Detailed Scope of Services, Exhibit B – Design Deliverables, and Exhibit E – Project Schedule. The attached Exhibit C2 identifies fee request and detailed back-up, in the overall contract amendment change order amount of $385,545, or approximately 2% of anticipated construction costs.
