1. Roll Call	Roll was taken by President Jasmin Thuman; attendees are listed above.
2. Adoption of Agenda	Motion to approve the agenda for the March 9, 2021 Staff Senate Meeting agenda	• Unanimously approved
3. Approval of Minutes	Motion to approve February 9 Staff Senate Meeting minutes.	• These will be approved at the April 2021 Meeting.
4. Opening Remarks	President Jasmin Thuman thanked everyone who attended.
5. Regent Report from March 4 Meeting	• Cupcake and coffee event coming up soon • Food Drive Coming up - Looking for place to store food • Food Service Thorodash • Pathways to Promotion - Staff gets opportunity to see job postings before they are posted publicly.
6. Staff Senate Committee Updates	• Outreach Committee - Fill van Event + Flyer is done. It needs to go out by the end of the week. + Due to snow, the official start date is March 15. + Food will be collected 11AM - 1PM	If anyone is interested in volunteer for the fill the van event, email Louis. Jack will email Louis to let him know volunteer dates

+ Jasmin will volunteer Monday through Friday 11AM - 12 Noon; + Deanna Brown will volunteer Wednesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 18, Monday, March 22 and Thursday, March 24. 12 Noon - 1PM • Staff Morale Committee - Staff Morale Meeting will meet with Jasmin after meeting • Staff Relations Committee - Thorodash will start in August. + Had meeting with Sodexo + Gail needs to be invited + Dr. Stratton has been brought in from the School of Business to handle the delivery side of this. - Pathways to Promotion + Currently KSU doesn't have this. This needs to be figured out. + We need to make sure KSU has opportunities for advancement. Currently, many KSU employees feel they don't have opportunities to move up. Many of the employees who took the V-SIP did so because of this. + Feedback also needs to be given to employees when position are not awarded to them. We could also offer classes as well. + We also need to look at preparing and building our current employees. - Priority Parking for KSU Employee of the month + This is still being worked on. - Money for recruiting students + This is still being worked on. Title III has a Professional Development Fund for its employees. All KSU employees are eligible for this. Announcements will be sent out soon.

Announcements • Franklin County Health Department is offering the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine to KSU employees. • Sick Leave Sharing: 1120 Hours have been donated. Announcements for this will go out in January and in July.
