About
This project is adding one auxiliary lane in the eastbound direction on I-4 from 15th Street to west of 26th Street in Hillsborough County.
Other improvements include:
widening the I-4 eastbound bridge over 21st/22nd Street
constructing retaining walls
installing new LED lighting
adding signing and pavement markings
and installing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
Construction is anticipated to finish late 2027.
