About

  • This project is adding one auxiliary lane in the eastbound direction on I-4 from 15th Street to west of 26th Street in Hillsborough County. Other improvements include:
  • widening the I-4 eastbound bridge over 21st/22nd Street
  • constructing retaining walls
  • installing new LED lighting
  • adding signing and pavement markings
  • and installing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
  • Construction is anticipated to finish late 2027.
