The Balch Springs Police Department is dedicated to the delivery of premier services in a professional manner. When one of our staff members provides a customer with premier service, we want to recognize that staff member through the commendation process. There are times where we fall short of the expectations of our customers and the result is a complaint. The Balch Springs Police Department is dedicated to investigating valid complaints.
How to Commend a Police Department employee:
Write a letter to the employee's supervisor, (, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain or the Police Chief) at:

Commendation letters are logged and placed in the employee's permanent personnel file.
Call the Police Department at 972.557.6000 and ask to speak with the employee's supervisor.
