DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS
1. Policy
When inclement weather has been predicted, students, faculty and staff can find university delay or closing information in four ways:
1. Call the University Switchboard at (502) 597-6000. Do not call University Police. All inclement weather notifications are posted at the Switchboard as early as possible, but no later than 6 a.m.
2. Tune in to the following television stations:
Lexington Louisville Frankfort
WLEX 18 (NBC) WAVE 3 (NBC) Cable 10
WTVQ 36 (ABC) WHAS 11 (ABC)
WKYT 27 (CBS) WLKY 32 (CBS)
FOX 56 FOX 41
3. Listen to the following radio stations:
1490-AM (Forever Communications)
103.7-FM (Forever Communications)
104.9-FM (Forever Communications)
107.9-FM (LM Communications)
WVLK-AM 590 (Lexington)
WUKY-FM 91.3 (Lexington)
