Update on our current Strategic Plan 2017-20

In October 2018, the CJAB voted on and approved a motion to combine the standing Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol committees, to form the Behavioral Health Committee.

Beginning in November 2018, at its initial meeting, this new committee agreed to undergo collaborative Sequential Intercept Mapping of our local justice system and behavioral health services during its 1 1/2 hour meetings monthly.

This process being a very large task and, with a desire to be thorough and educational, is very close to concluding by the end of 2019.

At which time, the committee plans to prioritize the barriers and gaps identified during mapping and collaboratively proceed in program development and system improvements to address behavioral health needs in the Adams County justice system.
