1. Roll Call	Roll was taken by President Danielle Barber; attendees are listed above.
2. Adoption of Agenda	Motion to approve the agenda for the September 14, 2021 Staff Senate Meeting agenda.	• Unanimously approved
3. Approval of Minutes	Motion to approve the minutes for the July 13, 2021 and August 10, 2021 Staff Senate Meeting Minutes.	• Unanimously approved
4. Quarterly Board Update	President Danielle Barber read Staff Regent Chandee Felder's Quarterly Board report.	• All area VP's provided an update• All action items were approved
	Vice-President Delandual Conwell provided an updated on his report to the Board of Regents.	• Regarding elections, there are eight vacancies and the Senate hopes to elect two staff advocates• Staff Morale is working on cupcakes with kindness and the Outreach Committee is working on the Bred Basket drive• The Senate is working on professional development for staff, a financial literacy series, and welcome gift for new staff to be implemented on 7/1.

Staff Senate Committee Updates Outreach Committee • The Bred Basket Drive has been successful. So far, 260 items have been collected and there was a donation of $500 from alumni.
Staff Morale Committee No updates at this time.
Staff Relations Committee • The financial wellness series is moving forward with Dr. Stratton. The flyer is ready and needs approval from Brand Identity. • The Committee is working on who will be eligible for welcome gifts. • The internal candidate proposal will be discussed with Greg Rush and Candace Raglin. • The Committee reached out to Daryl Love regarding career seminars.
Elections Committee • All senators need to encourage colleagues to run.
Planned Events
Fall Festival • The festival will be sponsored by Staff Senate for essential staff to occur on 10/28/21 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.• Jack Wollman is spearheading the efforts.
Thanksgiving Food Drive • The food drive will occur 11/1/21 – 11/17/21. • There will be bins in additional areas. • The flyer needs to be revised.
Open Floor • The sooner the senate receives the minutes, the better. • We need to have a treasurer's report at our meetings.
