1. Roll Call	Roll was taken by President J asmin Thurman; attendees are listed above.
2. Agenda	Motion to approve the agenda for the February 9, 2021 Staff Senate Meeting.	• Unanimously approved
3. Approval of Minutes	Minutes of the January 19, 2021 Staff Senate Meeting were approved and spelling errors will be corrected. President Thurman encouraged everyone to review the minutes before meetings.	• Unanimously approved
4. Opening Remarks	President J asmin Thurman gave her opening remarks. She reminded Senators to limit discussion at meetings to matters related to staff issues.
5. Meeting Times	Motion to approve the revised times for the Staff Senate regular meetings. The meetings shall occur on the second Tuesday of every month at 2:00 p.m.	• Unanimously approved
6. Announcements and Updates	President Thurman reported that she will start separating out the duties of officers: • Vice President Barber will be taking attendance. Reporting of absences will be directed to her. • Secretary Wollman will be taking minutes and President Thurman will send the agenda and announcements.
7. Committee Updates	• Outreach Committee is planning a “Fill the Van” Event to collect donations for the Bred Basket. Additional information is forthcoming.

• The Staff Morale Committee is waiting to hear back from a faculty member regarding a business proposal for Thoro-Dash. • The Staff Relations Committee is working on the parking spot and the recruitment compensation proposal.

Meeting with President Brown • President Thuman discussed topics of discussion for her meeting with President Brown. Key points include staffing issues, pathways to promotion, and position postings being made available to internal candidates first.
