RESOLUTION

Whereas, Kentucky State University's Spring Commencement Exercises are scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025; and

Whereas, Kentucky State University has determined that the following individuals are deserving of an honorary degree:

  • Dr. Jewel H. Bronaugh
  • Former Governor Ernie Fletcher
  • Former Representative Derrick Graham
  • Ret. Army Brigadier General Henry Huntley
  • Representative James Tipton

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the honorary degrees to be conferred by President Koffi C. Akakpo during the Spring Commencement are hereby approved.

We, the duly qualified officers of the Kentucky State University Board of Regents, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by the Kentucky State University Board of Regents at its special meeting on April 28, 2025.
