Westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) Truck Parking
Volusia County
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is constructing a new truck and freight parking facility along Interstate 4 (I-4) about 5 miles west of Interstate 95 (I-95) in Volusia County. Located along a key regional freight corridor, the project will expand access to reliable truck parking and support the growing demand for freight mobility in Central Florida.
CONTRACTOR CWR Contracting, Inc.
The approximately 117-acre facility will initially provide 154 truck parking spaces, with a future expansion planned to accommodate up to 229 spaces. Real-time parking availability information will be provided through FDOT's Truck Parking Availability System (TPAS).
PROJECT COST $42.5 million
Amenities will include restrooms, on-site security, lighting, sidewalks, pet-walking areas, picnic areas, walking trails, and naturalistic landscaping. The site will also feature wildlife fencing, wildlife-sensitive lighting designed to preserve the existing wildlife crossing, and a dedicated conservation area.
PROJECT START September 2026
ESTIMATED COMPLETION Fall 2027
