About
This project will increase pedestrian safety by installing a new mid-block crosswalk on SR 590 (14th Avenue S) at 7th Street S in Pinellas County. The crossing will be equipped with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), which help alert motorists to the presence of pedestrians. Additional work includes curb and sidewalk improvements, along with new signage and pavement markings to enhance the visibility and accessibility of the crossing. Construction activities are underway and expected to be complete in late 2026.
