Dubuque County Reappraisal Staff Information and History
The Dubuque County Assessor's Office is in the midst of a project to inspect all homes in the county that do not fall within the boundaries of the City of Dubuque. This project was started in the fall of 2019. Our staffers at the time completed the City of Farley and proceeded to the Cities of Epworth and Cascade. Unfortunately, Covid-19 spread around the world in the spring of 2020, so in March we suspended the project for the time being to ensure the safety of both staff and homeowners.
In the fall of 2020, we restructured the project to reviewing only the exteriors of homes until such a time that we were comfortable restarting interior inspections. We feel that time has come, so we restarted interior review in the City of Epworth in June of 2022. The staff recently began working in unincorporated townships near the city of Dubuque.
