AUTHORIZING A GRADING LICENSE FOR BMOJ, LLC, BLOCK 6401, LOTS 21 AND 22

WHEREAS, BMOJ, LLC has previously received Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan Approval from the Jackson Township Planning Board for the construction of a House of Worship; and
WHEREAS, the improvements required as a part of this approval will result in the net export of 1,202 CY from the subject property; and
WHEREAS, since the proposed export of 1,202 CY exceeds the exceptions provided for in Section 244-166 of the Township Code, the Applicant is required to obtain a Grading License in accordance with Chapter 185-9 of the Township Code; and
WHEREAS, by letter dated October 10, 2025 the Township Engineer has reviewed the documentation submitted by the Applicant in support of its Grading License application, they have submitted all appropriate required documentation with respect to same and has further recommended Council issue the Grading License subject to the following conditions:
Confirmation by the Township Clerks Office that the appropriate application fee has been paid and received by the Township.
Certification from the Townships Tax Collector that all taxes for the subject property are current.
The Applicant shall provide for the appropriate bonds subject to the approval of the Township Attorney.
The Applicant shall provide for the appropriate Certificate of Insurance which must be approved by the Township Attorney.
This license is hereby conditioned upon the Applicant providing any/all revised documents that may be required by the Township Attorney, as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED this 16th day of October, 2025 by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
The Township hereby authorizes the issuance of a Grading License to BMOJ, LLC in accordance with the October 10, 2025 recommendation of the Township Engineer in accordance with the conditions set forth hereinabove.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be provided to the following:
