Co-Chairpersons Christine Dolan and Sharon Hollander called the meeting to order at 7:09 pm followed by a flag salute.

Helping Hands – Helping Hands has started, with Alison as the instructor. To date there are 10 clients attending.

Softball – Softball will begin April 10 and run through May 29. The Commission has T Shirts that can be used. Clients will be asked to bring their own helmets and gloves. Those that do not have gloves or helmets will be assigned them to use for the season, to be returned at the end of the season. The T-Ball stand that was ordered is on back order. Wipes and masks were ordered.

Virtual Painting – The hostess of the program was excellent. The Commission will try to do this program again in the fall.

Spring Thing – Saturday, March 27, 2021 1-3 pm, drive through at the Senior Center. The building will not be open to the public. There will be a craft bag and Easter candy bag for the clients. 18 clients have RSVP to date. K. Cladek will be the Easter Bunny.

Bowling – Dave Furbish noted that only Sunday nights are available at this time. Dave will check with Howell Lanes and schedule for Saturdays in July.

Rein Dancer – Rein Dancer will be contacted to see if the program will be resuming.

Parent Workshops – The same attorney who presented the last workshop has volunteered to do another one. Some of the topics are: Financial Options, Navigation of the System, What Programs are Available. The Commission would like to schedule for sometime in May.

Holiday Party – The AmVets Hall needs to be reserved for Sunday, December 5, 2021.

Soccer – The field needs to be reserved. Soccer runs from 9/11 through 10/30

Game Night – Schedule for sometime in May, Kristen suggested virtual Bingo. The service is provided by GameNight.social

Mini Golf - Would like to schedule for September 12 or 19, 2021.

Discussion – Commission members discussed the possibility of starting Helping Hands for the younger group. Members would like to develop an outline for the Helping Hands Program. Also discussed was a “Parents Night Out” sponsored by the Commission.
