Jackson Township Commission for the Disabled / Handicapped Meeting of November 20, 2019 Minutes
Chairperson Donna Andreas called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm followed by a flag salute.

Finance Report – Grant funds were transferred to the Trust Account. Grant - $0 Trust - $16,375.46 Budget - $2,928.58
Soccer - Soccer ended October 26. Trophies were distributed. Dave would like to have the group picture put in one of the local news media.
Basketball – The Crawford Gymnasium has been reserved, Basketball will run from the first weekend in January for eight weeks. The Commission will hold volleyball on the other side of the gym.
Halloween Party – Sunday, October 27, 2019 1 – 4 pm at the Senior Center. Christine Dolan and Kristin Cladek are chaired the event. The “Trunk or Treat” was held indoors due to the rain. Everyone had a great time.
Holiday Party – Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the AmVets, Rte. 571. As of this date 163+ will be attending. Walter the DJ still needs to confirm. Food will again be served family style. Gifts have been order in batches, and received from Amazon. Donna and Karen will purchase take out containers from Costco for guests to take home leftover food.
Game Night - Friday, March 13, 2019 7 – 9 pm at the Senior Center. Games, snacks & drinks. Suely has a popcorn machine that the Commission may use.
New Business
Client Representative Drew will be asked to be the client representative. The Commission will start out with one representative and see how it works out.
Nominations / Elections Christine Dolan nominates Donna Andreas and Karen Galano as Co-Chairpersons, Dave Furbish seconds the nomination.
Future Activities
Suggestions for a Cooking Night and Awards Watching (TV) Night were made.
