About
As of August 27, 2020, this project was accepted by the Florida Department of Transportation as "completed."
This project repaved I-4 between 50th Street and McIntosh Road in Hillsborough County.
The project was combined with design project 430335-1 to be built as a single construction project. This portion of the project lengthened the I-75 ramps going onto eastbound I-4 to allow drivers more time and space to merge into the mainline travel lanes.
The majority of work on this project was done during overnight hours - lane closures were scheduled between 8:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. for asphalt removal and paving.
