As of October 6, 2025, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.
This project widened SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) between Cobb Road and Buck Hope Road from four lanes to six lanes. The intersection of Cobb Road / W Jefferson Street / SR 50 was rebuilt in durable concrete.
Other project improvements include milling and resurfacing the existing roadway, installing curb and gutter, drainage improvements, adding bicycle lanes, and building sidewalks.
