About
This project is building a pedestrian overpass over SR 54 as part of the Suncoast Trail.
The existing Suncoast Trail will be reconstructed to accommodate the overpass and will also maintain a street-level crossing for pedestrians and bicyclists to cross SR 54. Short-duration pedestrian detours are planned when work overhead is in progress. The trail is expected to remain open to users throughout construction.
Construction is underway as of June 22, 2026.
