As of January 30, 2024, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.
This construction project is addressing safety improvements with the construction of a new traffic signal at S US Highway 41 at Universal Drive in Hillsborough County.
Elements of work shall include, but are not limited to, installation of the signal mentioned above, roadway resurfacing, sidewalk construction, and pedestrian features as necessary to accommodate pedestrian traffic with minimum impact to the current vehicular traffic patterns. Additional improvements include widening the curve south of Universal Drive to allow southbound right turns.
