About
This safety and operational improvements project will construct an additional auxiliary lane along the outside lane of eastbound I-4 from east of the Tampa Bypass Canal to west of the exit ramps to I-75.
To construct the project, heavy machinery will be used during daytime and nighttime hours and at times, may produce noise, vibration, and require the use of bright lights during nighttime work.
Work requiring lane closures will occur at night between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
Construction activities are anticipated to finish during spring 2027.
