GRANT AWARD ACCEPTANCE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAY & TRAFFIC SAFETY DRUNK DRIVING ENFORCEMENT FUND (DDEF) GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF 39,869.42
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson Police Department was awarded a Grant in the amount of $39,869.42 from the New Jersey Office of Highway Traffic Safety; and
WHEREAS, these funds are allocated to provide funding for to Enforce Drunk Driving Laws, for Education, Technology and Equipment to further drunk driving prevention efforts by the Jackson Police Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, to accept New Jersey Office of Highway Traffic Safety, Drunk Driving Enforcement Fund (DDEF) to improve traffic safety within the neighborhoods of the Township of Jackson.
