TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON
RESOLUTION 174-2025
AUTHORIZING PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE REDUCTION FOR BLINKY HOLDINGS LLC, BLOCK 20501, LOT 7
WHEREAS, Blinky Holdings LLC submitted a request for a Performance Bond Reduction with respect to the property commonly known as Lot 7, in Block 20501 as shown on the official Tax Maps of Jackson Township; and
WHEREAS, the property in question relates to a minor subdivision approval granted by the Township's Planning Board at 51 Whitesville Road; and
WHEREAS, the Township has previously received a total Performance Guarantee in the amount of $1,414,872.00; and
WHEREAS, by letter dated April 21, 2025 the Township Engineer, Charles Cunliffe, P.E., C.M.E., has recommended the total Performance Guarantee be reduced to the amount of $682,187,50 with bonded portion thereof to be $613,968.75 and the cash portion would be $68,218.75 and
WHEREAS, the Township Council has reviewed and accepts the recommendation of the Township Engineer to authorize such a Performance Guarantee Reduction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED this 13th day of May, 2025 by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
The Applicant is granted a Performance Guarantee Reduction resulting in a new total Performance Guarantee to be held by the Township of Jackson in the amount of $682,187.50, which Performance Guarantee shall include a bond in the amount of $613,968.75 and a cash portion in the amount of $68,218.75.
The Mayor, Township Clerk and such other Township Officials are hereby authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to implement the intent of this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the following:
