AWARDING A CONTRACT TO MAGIC TOUCH CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., FOR CDBG RENOVATIONS AND ALTERATIONS FOR THE JACKSON TOWNSHIP SENIOR CENTER
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has previously advertised for and received bids for the project entitled “CDBG Renovations and Alterations for the Jackson Township Senior Center”; and
WHEREAS, two (2) bids were received for this contract including Base Bid and Alternate Bid Number 1 and Alternate Bid Number 2 as follows:

WHEREAS, by letter dated March 26, 2025 Charles Cunliffe, PE, has recommended to the Township of Jackson that the contract shall be awarded to the low bidder, Magic Touch Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $207,300.00 which would be inclusive of the Base Bids as well as Alternate Bids Number 1 and Alternate Bids Number 2; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the bid documentation submitted by the low bidder is compliant with the bid specifications; and
WHEREAS, it appears that a Certification of Funds has been provided by the Townships Chief Financial Officer evidencing the availability of said funds in account T-12-56-851-000-807.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED this 8^{th} day of April, 2025 by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
- The Township hereby awards a contract to the low bidder, Magic Touch Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $207,300.00 in accordance with their Base Bid as well as Alternates Number 1 and Number 2.
- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be provided to the following:
- Charles Cunliffe, PE., Township Engineer
- Sandra Martin, RMC, CMR, Township Clerk
- Marianne Horta, PPA, Purchasing Agent
- Shawn Bolinsky, Superintendent of Public Works
- Gregory P. McGuckin, Esq., Township Attorney

- Michael Millemann, Tokarski Millemann Architects
