RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A GRADING LICENSE TO KAHAL JACKSON PINES CORP., REGARDING REAL PROPERTY IDENTIFIED AS 217 BREWERS BRIDGE ROAD, JACKSON, NJ, 08527, BLOCK 14101, LOT 19 & 21.

WHEREAS, the subject property has previously received Minor Subdivision and Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan from the Jackson Township Planning Board; and

WHEREAS, Kahal Jackson Pines Corp. has indicated that the proposed improvements will result in the net export of 2,634 CY from the subject property; and

WHEREAS, as the proposed export of 2,634 CY exceeds the above noted exceptions, per §244-166, Kahal Jackson Pines Corp. is required to obtain a Grading License in accordance with §185-9 of the Township Code.; and

WHEREAS, the movement of the soil is necessary for the development and improvements to the Property and is consistent with the Planning Board's Minor Subdivision and Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan; and

WHEREAS, applicant is required to pay the necessary application fees and to undertake all soil disturbance, movement, and addition in accordance with all applicable laws; and

WHEREAS, the Township Engineer has recommended the application be granted subject to conditions contained in the letter of the Township Engineer dated March 25, 2025 and attached hereto and incorporated herein as Schedule A.

WHEREAS, in reliance on the recommendation aforesaid, the Township Council finds that the subject Grading License may be granted without compromising the public health, safety as long as all conditions set forth and/or referenced herein are met.
