TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 125-2025

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING T&M ASSOCIATES AND TOKARSKI MILLEMANN ARCHITECTS FOR THE PREPARATION RE-ADVERTISEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED 'CDBG RENOVATIONS AND ALTERATIONS FOR JACKSON TOWNSHIP SENIOR CENTER'.

WHEREAS, Jackson Township desires to construct renovations and alterations to the Jackson Township Senior Center utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and

WHEREAS, the Township has previously advertised for bids for this project on February 10, 2025; and

WHEREAS, no bids were received for this project; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, Township Engineer (T&M Associates), and Township Architect (Tokarski Millemann Architects), are asking approval to prepare, readvertise and receive bids for the second time for the “CDBG Renovations and Alterations for Jackson Township Senior Center.”

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of Jackson Township, County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey, as follows:

1. The Township Engineer, T&M Associates, and Township Architect, Tokarski Millemann Architects, are hereby authorized and directed to prepare, readvertise, and solicit bids for a second time for the “CDBG Renovations and Alterations for Jackson Township Senior Center”.
2. That upon the adoption of this Resolution, the Clerk is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of it to T&M Associates, Tokarski Millemann Architects, the Purchasing Agent, and any other interested parties.
3. Funds are available for this purpose through account T-12-56-851-000-807.
