The project aims to resolve flooding issues. Additional improvements include milling and resurfacing, roadway widening, reconstructing curb and gutters, installing sidewalks, and updating signage and pavement markings as well as underground components of lighting and traffic signals.

Additionally, business driveways will be reconstructed. Construction shall be staged to maintain access at all times.

Construction activities will require temporary closures of sidewalk. Pedestrians will be directed around construction work, and are asked not to walk through the work zone. Bicyclists will be able to use the full travel lane. Motorists are reminded they must give bicyclists a minimum of three feet of clearance when driving alongside or passing them.

FDOT reminds all road users to pay attention, drive with care and always buckle up.
