RE: Project Update and Temporary Road Closure Notification

S.R. 416 (Silver Star Road) from S.R. 438 (Princeton Street) to U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) Financial Project Identification (FPID) Number: 448801-1

Dear Property Owner or Current Resident:

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is installing operational and safety improvements along State Road (S.R.) 416 (Silver Star Road) from S.R. 438 (Princeton Street) to U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail).

Starting as early as Monday, February 3, through Thursday, February 6, a segment of Hansrob Road from S.R. 416 to just south of Wendy's rear driveway will be closed to traffic for drainage work, curb and gutter installation, and sidewalk construction. A detour will route all traffic along Silver Meteor Drive to Regent Avenue and back to S.R. 416. Please note that the construction schedule may change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

This work is part of a larger FDOT project to improve safety and accessibility in the area by filling sidewalk gaps for pedestrians, enhancing connectivity along the paved shoulders for bicyclists, and reconstructing curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The estimated completion date for this project is Fall 2025. More details about the improvements are available on the project website at www.cflroads.com/project/448801-1.
