Believing in Accessibility For All

Who Recite Me is
Recite Me is a digital accessibility company supporting organisations to make online experiences more inclusive. Our approach combines software, reporting and specialist support so organisations can improve accessibility within their publishing processes and across the wider digital estate.
A broader accessibility toolkit
Assistive technology. A website toolbar that lets visitors adapt content through reading, styling, translation and navigation options.
Website checking. Automated and guided testing against WCAG, with findings, prioritisation and evidence of progress.
PDF discovery and remediation. Estate crawling, prioritisation, automated remediation and support for historic and newly created PDFs.
Audit, training and consultancy. Specialist manual auditing, guidance and training where automated checks or internal knowledge are not enough.
How this supports PSBAR and Assertion 10
Technology does not transfer legal responsibility away from the council, and no tool can certify a changing document estate as permanently compliant. The value of the proposed programme is that it makes improvement manageable, repeatable and evidential.
Discover: Crawl the domain and maintain a visible record of the PDF estate.
Prioritise: Focus on current, essential, high-use and quick-win documents; archive where appropriate.
Improve: Batch-remediate priority legacy content and run new documents through the workflow before publication.
Evidence: Retain original and remediated versions, issue records and page-allowance usage.
Review: Revisit priorities as policies change, meeting papers are added, and older material becomes archivable.
THE PRINCIPLE: St Stephen in Brannel cannot reasonably do nothing, and it may not be proportionate to remediate every page immediately. It therefore needs a staged programme that is proportionate, defensible and provable.
