The FAFSA is the first step to receiving student financial aid. Be sure to check with your college for any additional forms or applications they may require to ensure you don't miss out on any aid opportunities.
Who should complete the FAFSA?
Any high school senior pursuing higher education (college, technical or trade school)
Any returning college, technical or trade school student
O Any adult pursuing higher education
If you are a dependent student, the following also applies to parent contributors:

○ Social Security Number (or other necessary documentation for eligible non-citizens) ○ Valid personal (non-school) email address ○ Date of birth ○ Address ○ Phone number with text access helpful, but not required
You MAY need:
You MAY need: ○ Federal income tax returns, W2s and, other records of money earned ○ Bank statements and records of investments ○ Net worth of current businesses or farms ○ Records of untaxed income ○ Alien Registration # (if eligible non-citizen) ○ Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
BEFORE YOU START!!
Your FAFSA can be sent to up to 20 colleges of your choice! You can even submit your FAFSA to a college of interest before you apply for admission. Can't decide? No worries, after your FAFSA is processed you can log on to your account and add more colleges!
