3.5 (b) Crossrail, the East-West cross-London railway service which entered into service in 2022, and is now known as the Elizabeth Line, runs through the London Borough of Ealing on the route of the current Great Western Main Line with stations at Acton, Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, Hanwell and Southall.
