FUTURE STARS YOUTH SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP

Youth Sports Scholarship Program for non-city related sports programs i.e. tackle football (Pasadena Giants & Pasadena Wolf); little league baseball (West Pasadena); golf (The First Tee of Pasadena); lacrosse (Pasadena Lacrosse); rugby (Pasadena Rugby).

Participant Scholarship:

  • Must live or attend school in Northwest Pasadena
  • Proof required (residency or school
  • Must participate in a community-based recreational level youth sports program
  • Submit an application
  • At the time of registration, youth participants must be between the ages of 5-17
  • Demonstrate a financial need Provide documentation consistent with CDBG HUD guidelines for “low to very low” family income, or submit a Hardship Letter from a community organization such as a homeless shelter, church, or other non-profit organizations serving transitional families. Team Scholarship:

Team Scholarship:

  • Must be a 501c3 non-profit organization
  • 80% of youth participants served must be Pasadena residents/PUSD students
  • Operate within the boundaries of the City of Pasadena or the PUSD service area
  • Submit an application
  • Offer one of the following registration discounts to youth participants who live or attend PUSD school in Northwest Pasadena
  • For registration fees of $200 or more, $100 of the lowest advertised registration fee
  • For registration fees of $199 or less, 50% of the lowest advertised registration fee

Must increase total participation by 10% compared to the previous year.
