for Lazonby residents about the former Egg Packing Station from Lazonby Parish Council
Your Parish Council has been working with Eden District Council and the site owners for over two years on proposals to build affordable houses on the former egg packing station site. It now looks as this may be possible but there is still a great deal of work to do.
A grant has been awarded to produce detailed plans for the site. Your Parish Council is now.
Producing options for developing the site and will consult residents to get their support for the proposed build.
Getting planning permission for the preferred option.
Calculating the total cost of the project.
Finding the money to build out the project.
We are working with Eden Housing Association, a planning agent and solicitors on the above tasks. If we can do all of the above, we can get a grant to buy and clear the site ready for development. We should know by May 2021. whether the project will go ahead.
