The RN-BSN curriculum includes 38 nursing credit hours for holding an active license in the student’s state of residence. Fifty-four (54) liberal-general studies credit hours may be transferred from a regionally accredited associate or diploma nursing program*. The remaining 30 hours of nursing must be completed at Kentucky State University. Students must complete the RN-BSN program of study within a five (5) year period beginning with the first semester of admission.*Both courses are required to be the same language. Two semesters of sign language may be acceptable. ¥Liberal-general studies credits earned at institutions of higher learning outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to determine transferability prior to submitting an application for admission to the RN-BSN program. €Courses held in two 8-week sessions.
