Intensive analytical work on texts chosen by tutors to complement the regular work in seminars and tutorials. Significant compositional work will be assigned. Open to non-honors students. Prerequisites: junior standing or permission of instructor. Intensive study of the process of finding a topic, developing a thesis, and planning an extended essay. Intended as appropriate preparation for LST 441 (Senior Essay). Requirements include a formal essay proposal.
