Office of the President

It is indeed my pleasure to welcome you to Kentucky State University and the 2015-16 Kentucky State University Catalogue.

This Catalogue is the roadmap to your future. You should use it regularly. Make certain you understand each and every facet of the University and all of the services it has to offer to make you a successful KSU student. KSU is committed and dedicated to seeing that you achieve the very best that you can do and be. But it all starts with you being engaged and knowledgeable about what the requirements for you are – courses and prerequisites, majors, academic policies and the other academic requirements of the institution. This Catalogue is filled with great information, but it is only great information if you use it. I encourage you to use this Catalogue regularly.

At KSU, in all things we do, we pursue excellence and we want that to be your mantra as you move through your successful academic experience here with us. KSU will be what you make it. Make it the best for you!

Sincerely,

Raymond M. Burse President
