This section serves as a coordination provision. Sanitary sewage disposal systems and potable water supply systems are governed by the County Health Department and applicable state agencies rather than independent County zoning standards.
All sanitary sewage disposal systems and potable water supplies serving a High-Density Computing Facility shall comply with applicable County Health Department regulations and all applicable state requirements administered by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, or any other agency having jurisdiction.
Where review or permitting by the County Health Department or a state agency is required, the Zoning Administrator shall coordinate referral as part of the application review process. Approval under this ordinance does not relieve the facility owner, operator, applicant, or property owner of responsibility to obtain all required sanitary, wastewater, potable-water, well, water-system, or related permits and approvals.
