the ability to ward off infections. It is very well known that the number one cause of respiratory disease in cattle is stress. From a livestock standpoint, constant stress on an animal will almost certainly lead to an increase in health issues. As for wildlife, there are a multitude of reports that go into the various ways that noise pollution can affect wildlife from both a health and ecological standpoint. A drug cannot go on the market prior to significant research and testing on the effects that it will have on the animals it is intended for. We at Rolling Hills do not believe that the animals in our communities should be among the first to learn the long-term effects of data centers.
As veterinarians we take an oath that states "do no harm". We feel that allowing a data center to be built in our practice area opens the door for potential harm to our patients and our community members. Whether it be through water pollution, water loss, or noise pollution, a datacenter could be catastrophic to our local economies and animal health.
