As at 31 March 2026, the Board of Scottish Enterprise comprised the Chair, ten other non-executive members and the Chief Executive. The Board met in full seven times during the year, with a further seven meetings convened to consider specific projects for approval.
Professor Sir Jim McDonald KT, GBE was appointed Chair of Scottish Enterprise on 1 January 2025. Five new members were appointed to the Scottish Enterprise Board on 1 January 2026 (Jacqui Gale MBE, Luke Logan, Cameron Murray, Stuart Patrick CBE and Greig Rooney). These appointments are for three years and will run to 31 December 2028. The appointments of Dr Poonam Malik, Dr Sue Paterson and Karthik Subramanya ended on 31 December 2025.
