  • Supporting 252 companies to strengthen leadership capability and investment readiness, through leadership development, AI and productivity programmes, helping to build the ambition and behaviours required to support ongoing capital investment and higher value jobs.
  • Delivery of high quality, investment ready manufacturing space, through the Manufacturing Property Challenge Programme, helping address market failure and unlock private sector investment – such as Stewart Properties, 20,525 sq. ft of new manufacturing floor space.

Supported by a Scottish Enterprise capital grant of £649,000, the Colhoun Estates project demonstrates progress in developing high-specification manufacturing accommodation. The project delivers 35,000 sq ft of advanced manufacturing space at Gateway Glasgow, Cambuslang, designed to support innovative production technologies and address a recognised lack of supply in the area. The development is expected to leverage £3.215m in private sector capital investment. At full occupancy, the facility is projected to create and sustain around 130 FTE manufacturing jobs, strengthening Scotland's advanced manufacturing base and contributing to productivity and investment objectives. Delivering a competitive pipeline of property solutions for Scotland's future industries is a priority across all three missions.
