Non-financial support

Our support to companies is much more than funding or investment. The contribution of our staff in working directly with businesses is a critical part of the support Scottish Enterprise provides. They add value by offering advice, making connections, and helping companies identify and pursue opportunities. This support helps businesses innovate, enter new markets, improve productivity, grow and create jobs in Scotland. Scottish Enterprise is a knowledge-based organisation, and the value we deliver comes from the expertise of our people.

Delivering our Missions during 2025/26

During 2025/26, we set out our medium-term priorities through the 2025–28 Operating Plan. This focuses on supporting investment in high potential opportunities, strengthening innovation-led growth and enabling new industrial development, including in areas such as offshore wind and in the Grangemouth cluster. Through our international reach and partnerships, we support ambitious businesses to grow, improve productivity and contribute to sustainable economic transformation.
