SCOTTISH ENTERPRISE ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS 2026
Performance Report
17
Reputation, influence and impact on delivery - our reputation, influence and delivery of our priorities and measures are critical for shaping national economic ambitions, responding to current and future economic shifts and building trust with stakeholders. Negative reputational impacts or poor delivery performance could erode stakeholder confidence and limit our ability to shape and deliver economic priorities;
Cyber security and operational resilience - the risk of significant disruption to our operations if we are subject to a successful cyber-attack or if there is a disruptive incident for our systems/networks/services arising from third party actions, negligence/misconduct and/or broader events in the supply chain; and
Legal environment – the increasing complexity, uncertainty and volume of relevant laws and wider accountability requirements may impact on our ability to plan, deliver and manage transformative projects at scale.
Further information on these principal risks and the associated mitigations is provided in the Governance Statement within the Accountability Report.
