Scottish Enterprise plays a key role in enabling significant, long term and systemic change to help transform Scotland's economy. Delivering our missions depends on working closely with others. We bring businesses, investors, government and delivery partners together to help good ideas move faster and turn opportunity into investable, deliverable projects. Our role is to help align policy, capital and delivery so that effort is focused and benefits flow across Scotland.
A large proportion of Scottish Enterprise activities operate across all of Scotland, including the Highlands and Islands and South of Scotland Enterprise areas. These include:
Inward investment and global trade support and development through our international arm, Scottish Development International.
Major grants programmes, including Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) and SMART: SCOTLAND grants.
The financial readiness service and commercial co-investment for the early-stage investment market.
The Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service.
Whether at an international, national, or regional level, Scottish Enterprise works alongside our public sector partners, including universities and colleges, and the private sector to deliver stronger outcomes for Scotland.
