BACKGROUND:
Laundry Fee
Kentucky State University has entered into an agreement with CSC to provide new washers and dryers for all university residence halls. These laundry machines are wifi enabled and have a number of modern features that will improve the experience for students. Kentucky State University will also transition from a transaction payment model to a semester model by implementing a $50 per semester laundry fee for students living in residence halls. This results in a weekly charge of approximately $3.12 per week for unlimited laundry access.
Tuition and Fee Corrections
The tuition and fee schedule approved by the Kentucky State University Board of Regents at the June 7, 2018 meeting did not accurately reflect the costs for Dual Credit English courses or Board Rates for Commuter Meals.
The schedule listed English 101 at a rate of $20 per credit hour. Actually, all dual credit English courses should be at a rate of $20 per credit hour.
The schedule listed the Board Rate for Commuter Meals at a rate of $400 per semester. The rate should be $570 per semester.
