- AAFCS (American Association of Family and Consumer Science) meeting held in Cleveland, OH – Team presentation discussing efforts made by historically Black institutions during challenging economic times – discussed “Get More Bang for your Buck” curriculum materials. Approximately 30 persons in attendance. Also: Accepted award or Susan Templeton for the most outstanding research paper award for 2009 for AAFCS. Attended Awards ceremony and Reception and made remarks prepared by Susan at both. 2010
