- Strengthening Economic Self-Sufficiency Conference, Lexington, KY – A conference with IRS representatives, Community agencies and groups sponsoring VITA sites, non-profits and other organizations. Prepared a PowerPoint presentation, and provided other materials to describe Extension's efforts in working with the Earned Income Tax Credits, VITA sites, and Financial literacy and Asset building. Approximately 75 persons present from around the state. Also attended a press conference and Kickoff for Tax season and Vita Sites. 2008
- EFERMA – Eastern Region Family Economics and Resource Management Association Meeting in Savannah, GA. Produced a publication, and worksheet, a PowerPoint Presentation and presented workshop to approximately 35 people. Facilitated a session with approximately 20 people present. 2008
- Co-authored a submission for the Galaxy Conference in September –Submission On Legally Secure Your Financial Future was accepted for presentation 2008
- Black Family Conference, Louisville, KY – Made a presentation on "Empowering African Americans Through Financial Literacy" – Prepared PowerPoint, provided my publication on "MoneyPower" and other materials. Spoke to Approximately 60 participants - 16 Evaluations were returned with the following results
- Presented 2 workshops at KEHA (KY Assoc. Of Extension Homemaker's) annual meeting in Northern KY at the Drawbridge Inn. 60 persons participated in the 1^{st} workshop and 28 participated in the 2^{nd} workshop. The workshop was entitled Around the Kitchen Table and discussed strategies for managing money during economic hard times. 2009
