ACTION ITEM:
Approval of Blazer Library flooring renovations.
FACTS:
The Division of Academic Affairs is requesting approval to use Title III funds to replace flooring in the Blazer Library. The funds would support the replacement of flooring in carpets and high-traffic areas with vinyl flooring in the main lobby, study rooms, and other identified areas of the library.
BUDGETARY IMPLICATIONS:
Title III (HBCU Master's Degree Program activity) funds of $123,996.36 would support securing the services of Engineered Floors Commercial Division for the flooring repairs in the Blazer Library.
RECOMMENDATION:
Interim President Ronald A. Johnson recommends that the Board of Regents approves the use of Title III funds for flooring renovations to the Blazer Library.
MOTION:
Approve the use of Title III funds for flooring renovations to the Blazer Library.
