KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY BOARD OF REGENTS
Approval to purchase furniture for Hunter Hall.
The Kentucky State University Land Grant Program utilized funds from the 2008 and 2013 USDA facility fund grants to renovate the former dormitory, Hunter Hall. The project is set to be finalized in December of 2022.
The Hunter Hall renovation project will yield approximately fifteen offices that will support almost two dozen employees, a large conference room, a breakroom, and two labs, including a large GIS lab and a large Family & Consumer Sciences lab.
Furniture for Hunter Hall is needed so that employees can be moved to the building, thereby completing the project.
The Land Grant Program is requesting permission to use $136,562.40 in federal USDA grant funds to purchase furniture for the renovated Hunter Hall building.
Interim President Ronald A. Johnson recommends that the Board of Regents approves the use of USDA funds to purchase furniture for Hunter Hall.
